First year. Review third term

This time you have to review the unit of colour, polygons, including triangle constructions seen in class and the circle. On the book you have vocabulary and everything you need. But here you have some links that will be helful:

Colour properties:

• HUE (matiz) is the actual colour, the name, such as red, green, blue... Each hue represents a family of colour.

• VALUE (luminosidad) is the range of lightness or darkness in a hue. Each hue has its own natural value although it can be changed adding black or white. White added to a hue creates a tint MATIZ. The addition of black creates a shade SOMBRA.

• SATURATION (saturación o intensidad) refers to the degree of intensity or purity of a colour. The purity of a colour refers to how far a colour is from white, black, grey or browns. A colour is more pure when it is less mixed, so it is a bright colour.

• Complementary Colours (COLORES COMPLEMENTARIOS): they are pairs of colours that are opposite each other on the colour wheel (círculo cromático). These colour pairs are:

Magenta and Green Cyan blu and orange Yellow and Violet
